Indian Registration has the responsibility of recording, registering and reporting on the demographics of the Dokis First Nation membership. In addition to any amendments to the Indian Register such as births, marriages, divorce, residency status and deaths, please contact the Indian Registry Administrator.
Mailing Lists
Dokis First Nation retains mailing lists of Dokis First Nation members for the purpose of communicating with the membership. It is your responsibility to ensure that your address is updated with our office. Click here “Contact Us” and submit a request.

Some First Nations still issue Certificates of Indian Status (paper laminate) cards, you can contact the Indian Registry Administrator in Dokis if you are looking to find out more information on ‘applying for your first secure status card (SCIS) or to renew, replace or update your secure status card (SCIS)

Estate Regulations
If a First Nations person was living off-reserve at the time of death, the estate is the responsibility of the province, territory or country where they lived.
