Dokis First Nation and Nipissing First Nation have joined forces to establish a joint lands committee that prioritizes stewardship efforts for our connected lands and waters - the French River and Lake Nipissing. The committee was developed as a commitment of the nations to work together to honour our individual histories, our nation-to-nation relationship, and our collective responsibilities to protect and preserve our shared lands and waters.
